OptionChain

Strike-level call/put open interest, LTP and changes for selected index, stock, and expiry — live, or replayed minute by minute for any recorded session.

What the option chain shows

The full option chain for NIFTY, BANK NIFTY, SENSEX and every F&O stock, at any listed expiry. Calls sit on the left, puts on the right and strikes run down the middle with the at-the-money strike highlighted, while max pain, the support and resistance strikes and the put-call ratio are computed across the top. Replay mode rewinds any recorded session minute by minute, so you can watch how the chain was built rather than only seeing where it ended up.

How to read the columns

  • OI — how many contracts are still open at that strike — standing commitment, not today's activity.
  • Chng in OI — today's change in that number. This is the column that carries information; the running total mostly reflects history.
  • Volume — contracts traded today. Volume above OI means the position at that strike turned over entirely this session.
  • IV — implied volatility per strike, which shows where the market is charging most for movement.
  • PCR — put open interest divided by call open interest, per strike and for the whole chain.
  • OI concentration — the heaviest call strike often acts as resistance and the heaviest put strike as support, because writers defend where they are exposed.

Frequently asked questions

An option chain lists every call and put contract for one underlying at one expiry, side by side against each strike price, together with their prices, open interest, volume and implied volatility. It is the single most information-dense view of how a market is positioned.

Change in open interest. The total OI at a strike accumulates over the life of the contract and tells you mostly about the past, whereas the change tells you what positions are being opened or closed right now.

Yes. Replay mode rewinds any recorded session minute by minute, so you can step through how open interest built at each strike through the day instead of only seeing the closing snapshot.
