Most OI analysis tools in India start from the same option chain. What separates them is what they build on top, how fresh the numbers are and what they charge. This guide compares seven OI analysis tools: OIData, Sensibull, Opstra, Quantsapp, NiftyTrader, OI Pulse and NSE’s own option chain, with each one’s price, its strengths and who it suits.
We make OIData, which is first on the list, so read this as an informed but interested view. Every other tool’s price and features come from its own website, read on 23 October 2026, and each one is linked so you can check.
How we compared the OI analysis tools
- Price, monthly and yearly, as each site listed it.
- A tier that costs nothing, and what it leaves out.
- Depth beyond the chain: dealer gamma, the auctions, volatility and expiry-day analytics.
- Delivery: alerts and daily briefs that reach you.
- Trading features: strategy builders, backtesting and placing orders. Useful, but a different job from reading open interest.

What only OIData has among these OI analysis tools
On 23 October 2026, none of the other six OI analysis tools listed any of these:
- Dealer gamma exposure (GEX). Dealer Positioning for NIFTY, SENSEX and stock options, and the GEX Screener for every F&O stock: the call and put walls, the gamma flip, pin conviction and the hedge ladder, every minute.
- A closing auction tracker. Closing Auction follows the 15:15 index freeze, the auction print, the futures fair close and the expiry settlement risk. Opening Auction follows the pre-open phase by phase and checks the 09:30 gap fill; NiftyTrader and OI Pulse show pre-open prices, not the auction itself.
- Dealer levels drawn on price. The Session Chart puts the call and put walls, the pin, the gamma flip and the expected move on minute candles.
- Expiry-day analytics. Expiry Day shows where the index may pin, how fast the at-the-money straddle decays against its model and the expected-move band.
- An AI news read. The Dashboard pairs the GIFT NIFTY-implied open with a plain-English AI read of what is moving the market.
Some OIData tools have relatives among the other OI analysis tools: Quantsapp also lists seasonality, unusual option activity, a Market Mood view and alerts; Opstra has a volatility surface and skew; NiftyTrader and OI Pulse have Trending OI. Those are listed under each tool below.
The seven OI analysis tools, one by one
1. OIData
OIData is an open interest analytics terminal sold as one plan, Ultimate: ₹1189 a month, or ₹10,701 a year, which is 12 months for the price of 9. It never tells you what to buy or sell and never places orders. Every tool is in the one plan:
- Dashboard: the next open implied by GIFT NIFTY and what is moving the market right now, each with an AI news read.
- Pre-open brief and end-of-day digest: by email or Telegram, at 08:45 before the bell and at 16:15 after the close.
- Session Chart: minute candles for NIFTY, BANKNIFTY, SENSEX and F&O stocks with the call wall, put wall, pin, gamma flip and expected move drawn on them.
- Market Mood Index: a transparent 0–100 fear and greed gauge built from FII positioning, India VIX, skew, momentum, breadth and gold demand.
- Opening Auction: the 09:00–09:15 pre-open for NIFTY and SENSEX, the opening print against the auction, GIFT NIFTY and the 09:30 gap fill.
- Closing Auction: the 15:15 index freeze, the auction print, the futures fair close and expiry settlement risk.
- Dealer Positioning: dealer gamma exposure (GEX) by strike for NIFTY, SENSEX and stock options, with the call and put walls, the gamma flip, pin conviction and the hedge ladder, every minute.
- GEX Screener: every NSE F&O stock ranked by net dealer gamma, with short-gamma names, walls, pin conviction and each name’s intraday gamma trend.
- Expiry Day: where the index may pin, how fast the at-the-money straddle decays against its model, the expected-move band and max pain drift.
- Volatility: India VIX against realized volatility, the IV surface, term structure and skew, and the range option prices imply.
- Option Chain: strike-level call and put open interest, prices and changes for index and stock options, with replay that rewinds any recorded session.

- Straddles & Strangles: a premium tracker with automatic at-the-money and custom strikes.
- Options Activity: index option strikes whose 5-minute volume bursts above their run-rate, tagged fresh opening flow or churn.
- Buildup Screener: long buildup, short buildup, unwinding and short covering across the F&O list, ranked by OI change.
- FII / DII Activity: FII, DII, Pro and Client positions in the cash market and F&O, daily to yearly.

- Alerts: up to 20 rules on PCR crosses, OI spikes, max pain shifts, OI walls, gamma flips and GIFT pre-open gaps, sent to Telegram.
- Tutorials: a short video for every page.
OIData covers NIFTY, BANKNIFTY, FINNIFTY, MIDCPNIFTY, SENSEX, BANKEX and about 200 F&O stocks. It runs live through market hours through your own broker connection, and outside market hours every recorded session replays, so the tools are useful on a Sunday too. Several pages also export to CSV.
Best for: traders who read the market themselves and want dealer gamma, both auctions, every F&O stock’s trending OI, mood and volatility, with alerts and briefs delivered.
