If you are looking for an OI Pulse alternative, this guide puts the two tools side by side: what each costs, what each covers, and the twelve tools in OIData that OI Pulse does not list. OI Pulse is an open interest tool from Options Scalping Private Limited in Bengaluru, built around option scalping, with trade picks and a strategy builder on its yearly plans and mentoring programmes alongside. OIData is an open interest analytics terminal for NIFTY, SENSEX and about 200 F&O stocks, sold as one plan with every tool included.

We make OIData, so this is our side of the comparison, and you should judge any OI Pulse alternative, ours included, on facts you can check. Every OI Pulse fact here comes from OI Pulse’s pricing page, read on 23 October 2026.

12 tools in OIData that OI Pulse doesn’t list

These twelve are the main reason to look at an OI Pulse alternative. Each one is in OIData’s one plan; none of them appears on OI Pulse’s plan list.

1. Trending OI Screener for every F&O stock

OI Pulse lists Trending OI, which follows the strikes you pick for one index or stock. OIData’s Trending OI Screener reads every NSE F&O stock at once. Day Strength compares the put and call open interest added since the previous close across ten strikes either side of each price; Flow does the same for the last fifteen minutes. The list refreshes every 30 seconds, so you can sort the whole F&O market by who is adding positions, and on which side, without opening each stock. The screener guide explains both numbers.

OIData Trending OI Screener at 12:56 IST on 19 October 2026 listing 213 F&O stocks read across the October series, ten strikes either side: ICICIBANK first with Day Strength minus 21 percent and three dots and Flow plus 51 percent with two, then AXISBANK, CANBK, CROMPTON, and FEDERALBNK and SRF tagged Unwind, under filters for direction, Day dots, Flow dots and Flow agrees with Day
Every F&O stock, ranked by Day Strength. The Trending OI Screener at 12:56 IST on Monday 19 October 2026: 213 stocks read across the October series, ten strikes either side of each price. ICICIBANK leads with Day −21% and three dots while its last fifteen minutes read Flow +51%; CANBK shows the reverse, CROMPTON's day and its last quarter hour agree, and FEDERALBNK and SRF carry the Unwind tag.

2. An AI news read, with the GIFT NIFTY open

The Dashboard frames the trading day as two stages: the next open implied by GIFT NIFTY, and what is moving the market right now. Each stage carries an AI news read, a few plain sentences on what the news and the numbers say. It explains the day; it never tells you what to buy or sell.

3. Opening Auction, phase by phase

Opening Auction follows the 09:00–09:15 pre-open for NIFTY and SENSEX as it happens, measures the opening print against the auction and against futures-implied cash, and checks at 09:30 whether the gap is filling. The pre-open guide walks through a session.

4. Closing Auction and expiry settlement

Closing Auction covers the other end of the day: the 15:15 index freeze, the auction print, the futures fair close and, on expiry days, the risk that settlement lands away from the last price you saw. The closing auction guide shows how one expiry settled.

5. Market Mood Index

Market Mood is a transparent 0–100 fear and greed gauge for Indian markets, built from FII positioning, India VIX, skew, momentum, breadth and gold demand, with its history drawn against NIFTY.

6. Dealer Positioning

Dealer Positioning estimates dealer gamma exposure (GEX) at every strike of NIFTY, SENSEX and stock options. From it come the call wall, the put wall, the gamma flip, pin conviction and the hedge ladder, refreshed every minute. These are the levels where option sellers’ hedging can slow the index down or push it along; the GEX guide explains each one in plain English.

7. GEX Screener

The GEX Screener runs the same read across every NSE F&O stock, ranks them by net dealer gamma, flags short-gamma names and shows each one’s walls, pin and intraday gamma trend.

8. Max pain and the expected move on Expiry Day

Expiry Day shows where the index may pin, how fast the at-the-money straddle is decaying against its model, the expected-move band and how max pain drifts through the session. OI Pulse lists straddle and strangle charts, but no max pain or expected move.

9. IV term structure, skew and the IV surface

OI Pulse lists Active Strikes IV. OIData’s Volatility page sets India VIX against realized volatility and adds the IV surface, the term structure, skew and the range option prices imply for NIFTY, BANKNIFTY and SENSEX.

10. Seasonals

Seasonals overlays each year’s path from January to December for NIFTY, SENSEX, BANKNIFTY, India VIX and every F&O stock, with up to 10 years of history and each month’s average move.

11. A pre-open brief and an end-of-day digest

At 08:45 the pre-open brief arrives by email or Telegram: the GIFT-implied open, the levels to watch and what yesterday’s close left behind, before you look at a screen. At 16:15 the digest sums up what the session did and what carried into the close, with the futures build-up totals and, on expiry days, the straddle decay against its model.

12. Your own alerts on Telegram

Alerts watch the market while you are away from the screen: up to 20 rules on PCR crosses, OI spikes, max pain shifts, OI walls, gamma flips and GIFT pre-open gaps, sent to Telegram when they trigger. The alerts guide shows how to set them up.

Everything else in OIData’s one plan

As an OI Pulse alternative, OIData also covers the everyday open interest work, in the same plan, with nothing sold separately:

  • Session Chart: minute candles for NIFTY, BANKNIFTY, SENSEX and F&O stocks with the call wall, put wall, pin, gamma flip and expected move drawn on them.
  • Option Chain: strike-level call and put open interest, prices and changes for index and stock options, with replay that rewinds any recorded session.
  • Trending OI: open interest momentum across strikes, with OI changes, direction and day high and low breaks.
  • OI Stats: call and put open interest at every strike side by side, with a time slider that replays the session.
  • Strike History: one strike day by day from listing to expiry, with its premium, open interest and build-up.
  • Futures OI: intraday futures open interest and price, session build-up in lots, basis and cost of carry.
  • Straddles & Strangles: a premium tracker with automatic at-the-money and custom strikes.
  • Options Activity: index option strikes whose 5-minute volume bursts above their run-rate, tagged fresh opening flow or churn.
  • Buildup Screener: long buildup, short buildup, unwinding and short covering across the F&O list, ranked by OI change.
  • FII / DII Activity: FII, DII, Pro and Client positions in the cash market and F&O, daily to yearly.
  • Holidays: NSE, BSE and MCX holidays on one calendar.
  • Tutorials: a short video for every page.

OIData covers NIFTY, BANKNIFTY, FINNIFTY, MIDCPNIFTY, SENSEX, BANKEX and about 200 F&O stocks. It runs live through market hours through your own broker connection, and outside market hours every recorded session replays, so the tools are useful on a Sunday too. Several pages also export to CSV.

OI Pulse price vs OIData price

OI Pulse sells three plans (OI Pulse pricing, 23 October 2026):

  • Go Pro: ₹1599 a month + GST, one month at a time.
  • Go Annual: ₹1167 a month + GST, for 12 months. It adds the OSPL and Qwik Scalp picks, the Strategy Builder and the Intraday Strategy Simulator.
  • Go Annual Combo: ₹2167 a month + GST, for 12 months, adding a year of 1Cliq for placing orders.

OIData has one plan, Ultimate: ₹1189 a month, or ₹10,701 a year, which is 12 months for the price of 9. Against OI Pulse’s listed prices, that is ₹410 less every month than Go Pro and over ₹3000 less a year than Go Annual, with every tool included from the first day, so this OI Pulse alternative costs less, not more.

What OI Pulse does that OIData doesn’t

A fair OI Pulse alternative should say what it leaves out. OI Pulse’s plans include TradingView advanced and multi-frame charts, Connecting Dots, Big OI Movement, Active Strikes OI, an Open and High strategy screen, Market Movers, an EOD OI analyzer and OI Buzz, Options Premium, and calendar spread and OI expiry strategy tools. The yearly plans add trade picks, a Strategy Builder and an Intraday Strategy Simulator, and the Combo adds 1Cliq to place orders. OI Pulse also runs mentoring programmes, and there is an OiPulse app for iPhone.

OIData has no strategy builder, gives no trade picks and places no orders. It is built for reading the market, and the decision stays with you.

Which one fits you

  • OI Pulse fits if you want trade picks, scalping mentorship and order placing from one provider.
  • OIData fits if you want an OI Pulse alternative for reading the market yourself: dealer gamma, both auctions, every F&O stock’s trending OI, the mood gauge, volatility and seasonals, with alerts and briefs that come to you, for less money.

Frequently asked questions

Is OIData a good OI Pulse alternative for intraday option traders?

Yes, if you read open interest yourself. The Trending OI Screener refreshes every 30 seconds, Dealer Positioning every minute, and the Session Chart draws the walls, the pin, the gamma flip and the expected move on minute candles. If you want someone to hand you trade picks, OIData is not that tool.

Is there a free OI Pulse alternative?

NSE’s own option chain costs nothing and shows strike-wise open interest and its change, but no screeners, no dealer positioning and no alerts. OIData is a paid OI Pulse alternative: ₹1189 a month, or ₹10,701 a year.

Does OIData give trade calls like OI Pulse?

No. OIData is an analytics tool: it shows data and indicators, never tips, and never places orders. Read the data, then decide for yourself.

Which indices and stocks does OIData cover?

NIFTY, BANKNIFTY, FINNIFTY, MIDCPNIFTY, SENSEX, BANKEX and about 200 F&O stocks, all in one plan.

Where does OIData’s data come from?

Through your own broker connection, live through market hours. Outside market hours, every recorded session replays.

Try the OI Pulse alternative with every tool in one plan

OIData’s one plan, Ultimate, includes every tool above: ₹1189 a month, or ₹10,701 a year, which is 12 months for the price of 9. That is about ₹57 a trading day.
